Dele Ali and Sturridge got the goals for Southgate on his first game in charge following Sam Allardyce's sack.

Gary Cahill was partnered by youngster John Stones at the heart of the defence with the two putting in a good work to ensure that the convincing win was with a clean sheet.

Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore started in his nations 1:1 draw at home against South Africa

Traore was impressive throughout but couldn't help matters as his team missed an early penalty via Jonathan Pitropia.Despite bossing possession for most of the game,the hosts couldn't find the breakthrough.
Matters got worst when South Africa netted with only ten minutes left on the clock.

However there was still time for plenty of drama as the hosts missed yet another penalty before notching the equalizer in stoppage time through Diawara who had come on for Traore.
