Copa Blues Round 1 Review
The blues boast three players in this year's edition of the Copa America and after the first round we review their performances.
Juan Cuadrado's Colombia beat USA 2:0 with goals from Zapata and skipper James Rodriguez enough to secure all three points against the host nation.Cuadrado who spent last season on loan at Juventus completed the full ninety minutes to propel Colombia to the top of group A.
Willian played 76 minutes of Brazil's 0:0 draw with Ecuador, though he was stretchered off with an Injury and promptly replaced by Lucas Moura.Willian was arguably Brazil's most constant menace going forward and nearly created a goal for Brazil but was denied by a last ditch save from Dreer in between the Ecuadorian sticks.
Michael Hector played the same minutes as Willian for Jamaica in their 1:0 loss to Venezuela . Jamaica fell behind to a lone goal from Martinez as early as the 15th minutes, with things getting worse eight minutes later following a red card to Jamaican midfielder Austin.
