The Chelsea skipper have put pen to paper on a new one year deal that will take him into his 22nd season with the club having joined at the age of 14.
Club supporters have urged owner Abrahimovich to reward John Terry with a new contract since the defender stated that Chelsea had not offered him a new contract in early February.
John Terry after signing expressed delight at the prospect of staying at Chelsea.
"I am delighted to sign a new contract with the club.Everyone knows am Chelsea through and through.I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and I hope we can make it a successful one".

The skipper has made 703 appearances at Chelsea in a trophy laden career having won the Champions league, Europa League,Premier league, League Cup,FA Cup,Community Shield as well as represented his country in his youthful years.
