Copa Blues Round 2 Review

There were plenty of minutes on the desk but different fortunes for blues contingent in the second round of the Copa America Centenary.
Cuadrado played all but three minutes plus stoppage time as Colombia qualified for the quarter final of the competition.First half goals from Carlos Bacca and skipper Rodriguez were all the Colombians needed to secure victory against a spirited Paraguay team who had a man sent off in the latter stages of the 2:1 win.

Willian played the full 90 minutes of Brazil's 7:1 rout against Haiti.A Hatrick from Philippe Coutinho was the match highlight with Willian denied a place on the scope sheet by a superb save by Haiti's shot stopper in the second half.Brazil needs a win from their final match against Peru to secure a place in the quarter finals although a result in the other fixture between Haiti and Ecuador could see only a point enough to pull the Brazilians through.
Michael Hector's Jamaica were eliminated after they lost 2:0 against Mexico who had Chicharito and Perelta on the scoresheet.Hector shone brilliantly throughout the match which confirmed Mexicos place in the knockout stages with Cuadrado's Colombia.
