Hazard : We Can Conquer Europe
Belgium skipper Eden Hazard has expressed confidence that the team has what it takes to make a big impact at the Euros.
'We have a lot of good players with experience as well as youngsters.Most of us play for the biggest sides in Europe.We have a good manager,a good goalkeeper,we have everything to try to be the best team at the Euros'.
He reiterated that the team has gained experience since there defeat to Argentina in the quarter finals of the World Cup in Brazil last two years.
'We've played together for four or five years now and we have a big connection.Its almost the same team.We know the mistakes we made in Brazil and we don't want to do the same again.We want to prepare to try to win but there are lot of good teams'.
Hazard also expressed confidence that if the team they have in France can play at their full potential they can go very far in the tournament.
Belgium will open their campaign against an Antonio Conte led Italy and the attacker added,
'Its a little bit strange playing against Antonio Conte's side but when you are on the pitch you don't think about that.
If we do win I will say to the manager,Sorry see you next season at Chelsea!
Hazard will be the stand in captain for Belgium following an injury to Vincent Kompany.He will be joined in the team by Thibaut Courtois and former blue Romelu Lukaku as they try to qualify from a group that has Italy,Republic of Ireland and Sweden.
