The German side will host our final pre-season match at their home ground Westerstadion which has been refurbished since the last time we visited it in the 2006/2007 Champions League season.

Werder Bremen was the loan destination of our center-back Papy Djilibodji who scored the goal which secures their stay in the German top-flight for the coming season.Our former Striker Claudio Pizarro scored 16 goals last season for the Bremen based outfit.
The fixture will be played on Sunday 7th August the weekend before our season opener against West Ham by 14:00 GMT.
