Batshuayi : I Feel At Home
Having signed from Olympic Marseille earlier this month,Michy was handed his debut in our last game against Rz Pellets on Wednesday. He had a goal ruled out for offside against the Austrian team but has opened his Chelsea account with a brace in a closed door friendly against Atus Ferlach.
He seems to have settled down real quick and is set to play a huge role this season.
'I felt really good to play my first match in a Chelsea shirt.Everyone in the group has made me feel at home and everyone has helped me so much, the players and the backroom staff.Even those who don't speak French has tried for me.There is a great atmosphere here.'
'I had a couple of chances on Wednesday and it was a bit of shame not to score, but that changed yesterday so all good!'
Michy had been Conte's first signing as the Italian had a major influence on the Belgian's decision to join Stamford Bridge and so far, there have been a mutual relationship between the pair.
'I have a perfect relationship with the coach as well. I already feel like I'm progressing a lot under him. I am still young,22,and I am happy to have a great coach who can make me improve'.
Batshuayi will be hoping to replicate his last season exploits with Marseille marked with 17 goals at Chelsea.
