It is the first time both teams will meet in Rose Bowl,Pasadena for an International Champions Cup game with the new campaign now 18 days away.
Chelsea arrived in LA for this fixture with a traveling squad of thirty players including returnees Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.Antonio Conte has varied his starting XI selection in the  previous three games but could go a step further with the squad now complete with the exception of John Obi Mikel and N'golo Kante.
Chelsea pre-season games has so far produced a return of eleven goals with two conceded against Rapid Vienna in our first game.The goals have been scored by 7 different players Traore,Loftus-Cheek,Chalobah,Mikel,Batshuayi,Pedro,Remy.

Our opponents however has seemingly hit top gear ahead of the new campaign winning all four of their pre-season games,scoring ten and conceding none in games against Tranmere,Huddersfield,Wigan and Fleetwood.


The last time Chelsea played a game against Liverpool was in our penultimate game of the last league campaign with two Belgians Eden Hazard(pictured below) and Christian Benteke's late equalizer ensuring the spoils were shared.
It is the first career meeting of the two managers (Jurgen Klopp and Antonio Conte) with both hoping to complete their first season with their respective teams.
