The shot-stopper conceded two first half goals in our 2:1 loss last night and echoed Conte's comments on how a sloppy first half cost us the game.

It was the first time the blues had conceded two in the first half of a game this season and Courtois was unable to stop the efforts from hitting the back of the net.
The defence were caught sleeping on duty for Lovren's opener and left Henderson just too comfortable to score  what proved to be the winner.

‘The first goal was a set-piece that they took quick, everybody ran to the first ball and they ran to the second ball, put a good cross in and it was a good goal.
‘The second is from a throw-in, maybe we didn’t follow the man, the ball goes to Henderson with no pressure on him and he makes a world-class goal.

The goalkeeper however insists the whole team now has to look forward to next week's game against Leicester City in the EFL Cup which will be followed by a London derby vs Arsenal.

‘Those cups are important and we want to win a trophy this season. It will be a hard game and we should react after two disappointing games at Swansea and losing at home to Liverpool. The next game away at Arsenal we should try to win like last season.’
