Conte Takes Blame For Liverpool Loss
Our Italian boss lost his first game as Chelsea manager as the blues were narrowly edged 2:1 on Friday night.
Sharing his thoughts after the game Conte revealed his team were sloppy in the first half meaning that there is still a lot of work for him to do as the season progresses.
‘I’m guilty because I’m the coach and it means I have to work more'.We must feel the danger in every single moment of the game if we want to win and think like a great team. We must pay attention and be focused.’
The blues conceded two first half goals for the first time this season and the manager discussed how we lost concentration
‘The first goal came after a free-kick which they took very quickly and the second after a throw-in. From long distance it was a great goal but when you give away two goals in that way it’s very difficult.
Conte stressed that the team must improve if we really wish to banish the memories of the last campaign.
