'Cesc Is Magic!
The Spanish midfield maestro was instrumental all night as the blues recorded their first come back victory from two goals down since 2002.

Conte has opted for a midfield duo of Nemanja Matic and Oscar in the starting XI for our opening league games limiting game time for the Spanish veteran midfielder.However,if his control of proceedings in the middle of the park against the Foxes was anything to go by,then two clinical goals in extra time to send us into the next round attests to his true class.

After the game Cesc told reporters,

‘First of all I was happy to play from the start. Secondly if I can help the team, fantastic.

‘Hopefully this will help shut a few journalists up who are talking rubbish all the time, and focus on what is important: Chelsea winning, playing well, and when I have the chance show what I can do, because I know what I can do and it’s a lot for this team.’

While Conte had suggested that there were no automatic spots in his XI he now must find a way to incorporate the Spaniard in his XI or get ready for roars from the stands who sang Cesc praises when he scored the third goal.
