The Brazilian defender who sealed a return to the Bridge on deadline day will make his second debut against the Merseysiders on Friday night.

Conte confirmed this while speaking ahead of the game while also expressing confidence that David Luiz can stand in for skipper John Terry who suffered an injury late in Sunday's game.

'Tomorrow David Luiz will play for the first time with us and we are confident about him.We expect him to play very very well,we know he's a good player'.

'We are working to put him in the best condition to give us the best of him.
'Sometime when new players arrive they need time to adapt to a new concept but tomorrow we need to play David Luiz'

David Luiz came on as a substitute for Jose Bosingwa on his first debut on February 6 2011 a fixture which we lost 1:0 against Liverpool.
