The Chelsea duo secured all three points for the Super Eagles who sit on top of their World Cup qualifying group after convincingly beating Algeria 3:1 on Saturday evening.

Victor Moses who has recently been used as a wingback by Conte lined up on the left side of a three man attack while skipper Mikel played in his usual deep lying midfield role.

Moses gave Nigeria the lead,solely running into the opponents box before sending a composed finished past Algeria's shot stopper.

Mikel got in on the act when he was mistaken to be in an offside by the visitors back line.The skipper kept his cool to slot home with the goalkeeper wrong footed.

Algeria threatened a comeback when Bentaleb smashed home from outside the area but Moses made sure of all three points with another composed finish late on putting Nigeria in pole position to secure a ticket to Russia 2018.
