The Belgian who made a return from injury last time out against Bournemouth hopes he can kick on from his brace against the cherries and stamp a place in Belgium's squad for the Euros as well as impress incoming boss Antonio Conte.
Eden hazard had not netted in 356 days in the league prior to his first strike against Bournemouth reflecting a dip in form of the 2014/2015 PFA award winner. However he hopes his worries are now behind as he had returned to full physical fitness and looks forward to the match against spurs.
He said 'Every season is different but for the last six years I was at the top. When I was in France I was on the top and it is the first time in my career when I feel am not on the top, but I need to learn. I am still young, I need to learn everyday. I hope it will be better next year'.
The 25 year old Belgian relishes the prospect of working with Antonio Conte who won three serie A titles with Italian champions Juventus.
'Of course I am looking forward to working with Antonio Conte. It is good to work with the best managers in the world'.
However the are still four games before the season ends and Hazard hopes to hit top form before the season ends. He stressed that for the blues to start next season well, they must end well this season.
'It is important to finish the season well, for the players who go to the euros and to prepare for next season, because we have a lot of games again to play next season and if we want to start really well next season we have to finish this season well.
Hazard will be hoping to start at the go against spurs on Monday nights London derby.
'When you are on the pitch you are concentrated just on beating the team but you can feel in the stadium that the atmosphere is a bit different when you play Spurs than any other team, because for the fans it is very important and for us as well.
