A lively encounter at Anfield ended with both sides heading home with a share of the spoils after a late Benteke header cancelled out a smart Eden Hazard opener.

Liverpool went close to finding the equaliser after halftime only for Lallana to shoot wide.Kennedy was brought on for Willian as the blues went in search of a goal that would put the game out of Liverpool's reach.Traores shot was parried away by the Mignolet before Blues youngster Tammy Abraham was handed his debut in place of Traore.
Benteke who came on as a substitute in the later stages however made sure the reds will snatch a point after the Belgian benefited from questionable goalkeeping to head home in extra time.
