Chelsea legend Eider Gudjohnsen has offered to help the airplane disaster victimized team execute their fixtures without demanding any wages.

The former Iceland forward who represented the blues as well as a host of other top clubs in Europe before retiring at Indian side Pune City has made a request to play for the Copa Sudamericana champions relishing the prospect of playing alongside former teammate Ronaldinho who has also extended similar gesture to the club.

A statement on his official twitter account read

Out of respect i would play for @ChapecoenseReal if they have a place for me! If not just to play with @10Ronaldinho again #ForcaChape
