The versatile Spanish defender who joined the blues four years ago from Marseille will now be with the club till 2020 having signed a new three year deal.

Having played 199 times and scoring a total four goals,Cesar can be deployed in any of the defensive roles having played as right back, left-back and at the heart of the defence in recent weeks.Azpi has won three major honours since joining the blues.
