Eleven consecutive victories has turned the blues into firm title contenders after many including Sir Alex Ferguson has written the blues off. The blues lost on a bounce against Liverpool and then Arsenal in September after narrow wins in their opening fixtures against West Ham and Watford. Pundits predicted after the loss at the Emirates it would take at least a first full season in the Premier league before Conte's men can challenge for the title.

But the blues seemed to have turned the table far too quickly and are now the team to beat in the division.

What Has Changed Around Stamford Bridge?

Antonio Conte arrived at Stamford Bridge having been confirmed as next Chelsea manager before the Euros following Jose's dismissal. The manager had the luxury of a full pre-season with his new team and made them go through a lot of work.

The blues needed a late goal from Diego Costa to secure their first two wins after the Spaniard had struggled the season before alongside Eden Hazard.The duo had been impressive as Chelsea won the championship during 2014/15 but a difficult spell last season has been banished by Conte's arrival.
David Luiz returned while Alonso signed for the blues on deadline day.

Liverpool narrowly defeated the blues while Arsenal dismantled them after a lackluster first half performance. Then came the turning point.

A new system that the Chelsea players has simultaneously blended with. Conte's decision to adopt what he asserted was his plan C has seen the blues hit top form since the beginning of October.
The game at KC Stadium against newly promoted Hull heralded the beginning of something new. The hosts were beaten 2:0, Champions Leicester City got 3:0,Mou's men got 4:0 and the rest is history. The blues have scored an impressive 25 times, conceding only twice. In fact, Tottenham's Eriksen is the only player to have scored against Conte's men who have been very potent in defence and attack.

David Luiz, Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill has been efficient, wingbacks Victor Moses and Alonso looks like they have been playing in that position for years. Kante,Matic,Fabregas has been energetic while Eden Hazard, Pedro, Willian and Costa has been prolific.

Conte has been the twelfth man, barking instructions on the sidelines from kickoff to fulltime. The results has kept coming and will likely continue if no one comes up with a way to stop the blues title ambitions.
May may be far off but could come too near if Conte's men go about winning matches the way they are doing.The blues have gone on to win the title each time they led on Christmas.
