Chelsea Vs Leicester City Match Preview

Dethroned champions will play against current champions in the final game of a dismal Chelsea campaign in which they lost the title they won convincingly last year. However there are a lot of positives to be taken with Guus Hiddink lifting Chelsea from a place in the bottom half to the top half of the table following the mutual dismissal of Jose Mourinho after  being condemned to defeat in the reverse fixture mid-December with goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyadh Mahrez doing the damage.
The blues played arguably their best match of the season according to Hiddink last time out against Liverpool with Eden Hazard now nearing full fitness. The Belgian who had been heavily criticized after Mourinho's departure has scored four in his last four matches including the best Chelsea goal of the year against Spurs. Chelsea player of the year Willian will also be hoping to sign off in the best possible way marking a good personal campaign. If Ivanovic is declared fit to play, John Obi Mikel is likely to return to his favourite position in the middle of the park. Diego Costa has been ruled out while Courtois could return having recovered from the sickness that kept him out against Liverpool.
The Foxes are likely to stick to the preferred line-up which earned them a first league title in as many years with Jamie Vardy who has 24 goals to his name still in the race for the golden boot. Foxes Shot stopper Schmeichel is also up for the golden glove with 15 clean sheets to his name.  Drinkwater returns from suspension while German defender Robert Huth set to miss the match for the same reason.
The Foxes haven't won at Stamford bridge in the Premier league since September 2000 and have not completed a league double over Chelsea since 15 years.
The blues will be hoping to start off well with the new kit unveiled which is to be on display against the Foxes.
Guus Hiddink will be expecting a similar display to the one at Anfield to mark an end to his second spell in the Chelsea dugout with Antonio Conte set to take over after the Euros.
